Kat’s Valley View Inn is located in the Clarkdale foothills at 1126 Valley View Rd. An easy drive off of Hwy 89A by either Historic Hwy 89A (more scenic) or the newer route of Hwy 89 with round-a-abouts (more direct)

Directions:  GPS is not correct in our rural area so don’t always listen to her, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t.

FROM I-17 NORTH

Exit I-17 at the Hwy 260 Cottonwood, Clarkdale, Jerome exit. (number …..)

Continue on Hwy 260 until you reach the “T” intersection of Hwy 260 and Hwy 89A.

Turn left here for the newer Hwy89A. Go straight through the intersection for Historic Hwy 89A. Note the brown state highway sign.

The two different routes of Hwy 89A does make it a bit confusing however, which ever way you choose or end up on, its easy to find Kat’s Valley View Inn.

 

HWY 89A:  The newer Hwy 89A will bring you through Cottonwood and 5 round abouts or traffic circles. At the last one, go around and head up the mountain as if going to Jerome.

Make the first left turn onto OLD JEROME HWY. Follow Old Jerome Hwy a little bit, maybe 1/4 mile and make the FIRST LEFT TURN onto VALLEY VIEW RD.

** IF YOU COME OVER MINGUS MTN THROUGH JEROME, come down the hill and just after the Welcome to Clarkdale sign,

make the RIGHT TURN onto OLD JEROME HWY.  The rest of the directions will get you there.

HISTORIC HWY 89A:  If you choose to take Historic Hwy 89A, which is more scenic as it takes you through Old Town Cottonwood a charming town business district and then continue to Historic Clarkdale and Main Street business district.  

You’ll go two blocks and reach the Clarkdale Park with its Gazebo home to many events.  

At the stop sign, note a sign that directs you left toward Jerome. Make this left turn. Continue on Clarkdale Parkway (still Hwy89A) and go through two roundabouts. After the second one, (#1 Gas and Convenience Store) you’ll go half way around and then go straight heading up toward Jerome. Then make the first left turn onto OLD JEROME HWY. Follow Old Jerome Hwy a little bit, approximately 1/4 mile and make the FIRST LEFT TURN onto VALLEY VIEW RD.

The Inn is on the left, a two story home with circular driveway. Please park in the circle drive. The entrance to the Inn is on the right side of the hosts home where you’ll see the private deck and French door entrance.

Kat will be awaiting your arrival… but there is a door bell at the home’s back door for you to reach her as well.
